PUTRAJAYA, Apr 27 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 2,733 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including five imported cases.

Selangor reported 750 new cases, followed by Kelantan (484), Sarawak (432), Kuala Lumpur (377), Johor (220) and Penang (115).

To date there are a cumulative total of 398,451 confirmed cases and 371,575 recoveries (including 2,019 discharged today) at 93.25% recovery rate.

13 new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,462.

There are currently 25,414 active cases, including 294 at ICUs, 138 requiring ventilators.
