PUTRAJAYA, Apr 23 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 2,847 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including four imported cases.

Selangor reported 748 new cases, followed by Sarawak (717), Kelantan (476), Kuala Lumpur (302), Johor (130) and Negeri Sembilan (105).

To date there are a cumulative total of 387,535 confirmed cases and 363,608 recoveries (including 2,341 discharged today) at 93.83% recovery rate.

Eight new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,415.

There are currently 22,512 active cases, including 260 at ICUs, 125 requiring ventilators.
