PUTRAJAYA, Apr 15 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 2,148 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including 19 imported cases.

Sarawak reported 512 new cases, followed by Selangor (459), Kelantan (221), Sabah (202), Johor (182), Kuala Lumpur (171) and Penang (134).

To date there are a cumulative total of 367,977 confirmed cases and 349,039 recoveries (including 1,259 discharged today) at 94.85% recovery rate.

Ten new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,363.

There are currently 17,575 active cases, including 212 at ICUs, 82 requiring ventilators.
