PUTRAJAYA, Apr 12 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 1,317 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including 12 imported cases.

Sarawak reported 351 new cases, followed by Selangor (303), Kuala Lumpur (116), Penang (112) and Sabah (109).

To date there are a cumulative total of 362,173 confirmed cases and 345,005 recoveries (including 1,052 discharged today) at 95.26% recovery rate.

Four new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,333.

There are currently 15,835 active cases, including 188 at ICUs, 84 requiring ventilators.
