PUTRAJAYA, Apr 6 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 1,300 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including 24 imported cases.

Sarawak reported 385 new cases, followed by Selangor (242), Kelantan (126), Sabah (112) and Penang (110).

To date there are a cumulative total of 353,329 confirmed cases and 337,868 recoveries (including 1,412 discharged today) at 95.62% recovery rate.

Five new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,300.

There are currently 14,161 active cases, including 189 at ICUs, 88 requiring ventilators.
