PUTRAJAYA, Mar 31 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 1,482 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including two imported cases.

Selangor reported 661 new cases, followed by Penang (200) and Sarawak (176).

To date there are a cumulative total of 345,500 confirmed cases and 329,624 recoveries (including 1,070 discharged today) at 95.40% recovery rate.

Seven new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,272.

There are currently 14,604 active cases, including 164 at ICUs, 81 requiring ventilators.
