PUTRAJAYA, Mar 24 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 1,268 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including five imported cases.

Selangor reported 490 new cases, followed by Sarawak (141) and Johor (135).

To date there are a cumulative total of 336,808 confirmed cases and 320,925 recoveries (including 1,083 discharged today) at 95.28% recovery rate.

Two new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,246.

There are currently 14,637 active cases, including 161 at ICUs, 73 requiring ventilators.
