PUTRAJAYA, Mar 22 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 1,116 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including eight imported cases.

Selangor reported 403 new cases, followed by Kuala Lumpur (158) and Sarawak (124).

To date there are a cumulative total of 334,156 confirmed cases and 318,784 recoveries (including 1,495 discharged today) at 95.40% recovery rate.

Five new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,238.

There are currently 14,134 active cases, including 156 at ICUs, 60 requiring ventilators.
