All Selangor hiking trails to reopen tomorrow
SHAH ALAM, Mar 10 (Sin Chew Daily) – Selangor state executive councilor Hee Loy Sian confirmed that all hiking trails in the state would be fully open to the public from tomorrow, including forests, permanent forest reserves and recreational forests managed by Selangor forestry department.
He told Sin Chew Daily that the decision was made after the state exco meeting this morning.
"Now that the federal government has opened up recreational activities, we feel that the Selangor state government should also reopen other hiking spots in the state to the public."
However, Hee insisted that all hikers must observe the strict guidelines and SOPs.
