PUTRAJAYA, Mar 4 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 2,154 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including five imported cases.

Selangor reported 794 new cases, followed by Johor (463), Sarawak (250), Penang (119), Perak (109) and Kuala Lumpur (108).

To date there are a cumulative total of 310,097 confirmed cases and 286,904 recoveries (including 3,275 discharged today) at 92.52% recovery rate.

Six new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,159.

There are currently 22,034 active cases, including 184 at ICUs, 87 requiring ventilators.
