KUALA LUMPUR, Mar 5 (Sin Chew Daily) – The Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) supreme council meeting last night did not make any decision on severing ties with Umno.
A PPBM supreme council member told Sin Chew Daily his party would continue to coordinate with Umno as they believed some Umno leaders were still willing to work with PPBM.
He said his party would continue to talk with Umno to find out what they need.
He said not all Umno leaders would reject PPBM and the party feels there is still room for cooperation.
He also said Umno would hold its party elections this year, and the issue of cooperation would then be discussed between Umno's new leadership and PPBM.
"The ball is now in Umno's court. Our doors are still wide open!"
