PUTRAJAYA, Mar 2 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 1,555 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including three imported cases.

Selangor reported 672 new cases, followed by Johor (163), Sarawak (159), Kuala Lumpur (145), Negeri Sembilan (115) and Penang (106).

To date there are a cumulative total of 304,135 confirmed cases and 278,431 recoveries (including 2,528 discharged today) at 91.54% recovery rate.

Six new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,141.

There are currently 24,563 active cases, including 204 at ICUs, 96 requiring ventilators.
