PUTRAJAYA, Mar 1 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 1,828 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including seven imported cases.

Johor reported 490 new cases, followed by Selangor (453), Sarawak (220), Negeri Sembilan (167), Perak (144) and Sabah (104).

To date there are a cumulative total of 302,580 confirmed cases and 275,903 recoveries (including 2,486 discharged today) at 91.18% recovery rate.

Five new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,135.

There are currently 25,542 active cases, including 198 at ICUs, 90 requiring ventilators.
