PUTRAJAYA, Feb 26 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 2,253 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including seven imported cases.

Selangor reported 633 new cases, followed by Perak (545), Johor (276), Sarawak (250) and Kuala Lumpur (122).

To date there are a cumulative total of 295,951 confirmed cases and 266,846 recoveries (including 3,085 discharged today) at 90.16% recovery rate.

11 new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,111.

There are currently 27.994 active cases, including 201 at ICUs, 93 requiring ventilators.
