PUTRAJAYA, Feb 24 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 3,545 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including one imported case.

Negeri Sembilan reported 1,392 new cases, followed by Selangor (581), Kuala Lumpur (381), Sarawak (353), Johor (318), Perak (188) and Sabah (105).

To date there are a cumulative total of 291,774 confirmed cases and 260,009 recoveries (including 3,331 discharged today) at 89.11% recovery rate.

12 new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,088.

There are currently 30,677 active cases, including 189 at ICUs, 88 requiring ventilators.
