PUTRAJAYA, Feb 5 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 3,391 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including four imported cases.

Selangor reported 1,228 new cases, followed by Johor (598), Kuala Lumpur (395), Sabah (196), Sarawak (178), Penang (149), Melaka (141) and Negeri Sembilan (116). 

To date there are a cumulative total of 234,874 confirmed cases and 185,278 recoveries (including 3,392 discharged today) at 78.9% recovery rate.

19 new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 845.

There are currently 48,751 active cases, including 310 at ICUs, 134 requiring ventilators.
