PUTRAJAYA, Dec 30 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 1,870 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including two imported cases.

Johor reported the highest number of new cases at 607, followed by Selangor (472), Sabah (280) and Kuala Lumpur (219).

To date there are a cumulative total of 110,485 confirmed cases and 87,460 recoveries (including 745 discharged today) at 79.2% recovery rate.

Six new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 463.

There are currently 22,562 active cases, including 131 at ICUs, 62 requiring ventilators.
