PUTRAJAYA, Dec 29 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 1,925 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including ten imported cases.

Selangor reported the highest number of new cases at 747, followed by Kuala Lumpur (360), Pahang (288), Sabah (230) and Johor (110).

To date there are a cumulative total of 108,615 confirmed cases and 86,715 recoveries (including 1,123 discharged today) at 79.8% recovery rate.

Two new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 457.

There are currently 21,443 active cases, including 117 at ICUs, 55 requiring ventilators.
