PUTRAJAYA, Dec 26 (Sin Chew Daily) – A record of 2,335 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including 11 imported cases.

Kuala Lumpur reported the highest number of new cases at 728, followed by Selangor (710), Johor (412) and Sabah (248).

To date there are a cumulative total of 103,900 confirmed cases and 83,414 recoveries (including 874 discharged today) at 80.3% recovery rate.

Two new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 451.

There are currently 20,035 active cases, including 108 at ICUs, 50 requiring ventilators.
