PUTRAJAYA, Dec 13 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 1,229 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including two imported cases.

Selangor reported the highest number of new cases at 435, followed by Sabah (333), Kuala Lumpur (131), Perak (105) and Johor (103).

To date there are a cumulative total of 83,475 confirmed cases and 69,393 recoveries (including 1,309 discharged today) at 83.1% recovery rate.

Four new deaths were reported, taking the toll to 415.

There are currently 13,667 active cases, including 115 at ICUs, 65 requiring ventilators.
