PUTRAJAYA, Dec 9 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 959 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including six imported cases.

Selangor reported the highest number of new cases at 277, followed by Sabah (203), Kuala Lumpur (129), Pahang (119) and Johor (100).

To date there are a cumulative total of 76,265 confirmed cases and 65,124 recoveries (including 1,068 discharged today) at 85.4% recovery rate.

Five new deaths were reported, taking the toll to 393.

There are currently 10,748 active cases, including 127 at ICUs, 61 requiring ventilators.
