PUTRAJAYA, Dec 4 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 1,141 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including three imported cases.

Both Selangor and Sabah reported the highest number of new cases at 320 each, followed by Kuala Lumpur (256), Johor (69), Penang (48) and Perak (47).

To date there are a cumulative total of 70,236 confirmed cases and 59,061 recoveries (including 1,144 discharged today) at 84.1% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported.

There are currently 10,799 active cases, including 129 at ICUs, 53 requiring ventilators.
