PUTRAJAYA, Dec 1 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 1,472 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including five imported cases.

Selangor reported the highest number of new cases at 891, followed by Sabah (267) and Negeri Sembilan (146).

To date there are a cumulative total of 67,169 confirmed cases and 56,311 recoveries (including 1,552 discharged today) at 83.9% recovery rate.

Three new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 363.

There are currently 10,495 active cases, including 120 at ICUs, 44 requiring ventilators.
