PUTRAJAYA, Nov 23 (Sin Chew Daily) – A record 1,884 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including two imported cases.

Selangor reported the highest number of new cases at 1,203, including 1,067 from the Teratai cluster. This was followed by Sabah (289), Kuala Lumpur (196), Negeri Sembilan (41) and Kedah (36).

To date there are a cumulative total of 56,659 confirmed cases and 42,480 recoveries (including 883 discharged today) at 75.0% recovery rate.

Two new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 337.

There are currently 13,842 active cases, including 115 at ICUs, 48 requiring ventilators.
