PUTRAJAYA, Nov 6 (Sin Chew Daily) – A record of 1,755 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including three imported cases.

Sabah remained the worst hit state with 1,199 new cases, followed by Penang (192), Selangor (164) and Labuan (59).

To date there are a cumulative total of 38,189 confirmed cases and 26,380 recoveries (including 726 discharged today) at 69.1% recovery rate.

Two new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 279.

There are currently 11,530 active cases, including 83 at ICUs, 32 requiring ventilators.
