PUTRAJAYA, Oct 20 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 862 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including two imported cases.

Sabah reported the highest number of new cases at 673, followed by Selangor (132), Kedah (17) and Perak (9).

To date there are a cumulative total of 22,225 confirmed cases and 14,351 recoveries (including 634 discharged today) at 64.57% recovery rate.

Three new deaths have also been reported, taking the toll to 193.

There are currently 7,681 active cases, including 95 at ICUs, 29 requiring ventilators.
