LYON, France (AFP) — Chefs and cooks work in Paul Bocuse's restaurant "Auberge Du Pont de Collonges" in Collonges au Mont d'Or near Lyon, France.
According to Food Safety Agency (Anses, 2017), the French eat around 4,000 tons of frogs each year.
"99% of the frogs consumed in France come from eastern countries like Turkey for the fresh ones, and Asia for the frozen ones," explains frog breeding farmer and Francois Production owner Patrice François.
