PUTRAJAYA, Oct 7 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 489 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including two imported cases.

Sabah has the most cases at 282, followed by Kedah 53, Selangor 20 and Penang 7.

To date there are a cumulative total of 13,993  confirmed cases and 10,501 recoveries (including 74 discharged today) at 75.04% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported.

There are currently 3,351 active cases, including 40 at ICUs, 13 requiring ventilators.
