DAP assemblywoman tests positive for COVID-19
PETALING JAYA, Oct 5 (Sin Chew Daily) – DAP's Kampung Tunku state assemblywoman Lim Yi Wei said in a statement today that she had tested positive for COVDI-19.
Lim is the first Selangor state assemblyman to have been diagnosed with the virus.
She returned from Sabah on September 27 and was put on home quarantine since the day.
On September 30, she was informed by the Petaling district health department that her first COVID-19 test was negative, and was told she could remove her quarantine wristband the following day.
Unfortunately she presented the symptoms on the same day.
At the advice of the health department, she went for a second test on October 2. The result was positive.
