PUTRAJAYA, Oct 2 (Sin Chew Daily) – A record of 287 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, all locally transmitted.

Kedah reported the most cases at 129, followed by Sabah (113) and Selangor (31). 

To date there are a cumulative total of 11,771 confirmed cases and 10,095 recoveries (including 81 discharged today) at 85.76% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported.

There are currently 1,540 active cases, including 22 at ICUs, four requiring ventilators.
