PETALING JAYA, Sept 28 (Sin Chew Daily) — Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said he had written to Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sabah Tun Datuk Seri Panglima Juhar Mahiruddin that the chief minster post should go to state Umno liaison committee chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin.
He told The Star that he felt Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) coalition owed BN the post.
"We have given in twice, once in Perak where PPBM rep (Ahmad Faizal Azumu) was appointed menteri besar although the party only had four state representatives and Umno had 25.
"Another time when we came to form the federal government. Although Muhyiddin's party did not have the most MPs, we agreed that he would be the prime minister."
