111 new cases, 107 local, mostly in Sabah

PUTRAJAYA, Sept 25 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 111 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including four imported cases.

Among the newly reported cases, 97 were from Sabah, including 74 from the Bangau-Bangau cluster in Semporna and 13 from the Benteng cluster in Lahad Datu.

Additionally, eight new cases were reported in Kedah (seven from the Sungai cluster) and one locally transmitted case in Pahang.

To date there are a cumulative total of 10,687 confirmed cases and 9,696 recoveries (including 30 discharged today) at 90.73% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported, with the toll remaining at 133.

There are currently 858 active cases, including four at ICUs, three requiring ventilators.
