PUTRAJAYA, Sept 9 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 24 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including six imported cases.

Of the 18 locally transmitted cases, 16 were from Kedah (including 13 from the Sungai cluster) and two from the Benteng cluster in Sabah.

To date there are a cumulative total of 9,583 confirmed cases and 9,143 recoveries (including seven discharged today) at 95.41% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported.

There are currently 312 active cases, including seven at ICUs, four requiring ventilators.
