PUTRAJAYA, Aug 4 (Sin Chew Daily) – Only one new locally transmitted COVID-19 case was reported in the country as of noon today.

To date there are a cumulative total of 9,002 confirmed cases and 8,684 recoveries (including 16 discharged today) at 96.47% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported.

There are currently 193 active cases, none at ICU.
