15 new cases, 11 local
PUTRAJAYA, July 21 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 15 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including four imported cases involving three Malaysians and a non-citizen.
Nine of the 11 locally transmitted cases were in Sarawak, including a foreigner. The other two local cases were in Sabah and Selangor respectively, both Malaysian citizens.
To date there are a cumulative total of 8,815 confirmed cases and 8,562 recoveries (including seven discharged today) at 97.13% recovery rate.
No new death has been reported.
There are currently 130 active cases, including four at ICUs, one requiring ventilator.
