PUTRAJAYA, July 16 (Sin Chew Daily) – Three new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including one imported case involving a Malaysian citizen returning from Nigeria.

Both the locally transmitted cases involved non-citizens.

To date there are a cumulative total of 8,737 confirmed cases and 8,538 recoveries (including 12 discharged today) at 97.72% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported.

There are currently 77 active cases, including three at ICUs, one requiring ventilator.
