PUTRAJAYA, July 6 (Sin Chew Daily) – Five new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including three imported cases.

Of the two locally transmitted cases, one involved a Malaysian citizen while another a foreigner.

To date there are a cumulative total of 8,668 confirmed cases and 8,476 recoveries (including 11 discharged today) at 97.78% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported.

There are currently 71 active cases, including two at ICUs, both requiring ventilators.
