PETALING JAYA, June 24 (Sin Chew Daily) – During a video interview with Sin Chew Daily, former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad described prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as a very cunning man.

He insisted that he would not work with Muhyiddin any more.

"He is a very cunning man. His 'design' was to make me not accept his proposal.

"He wanted me to work with Najib, but he knew very well I would never do that!"

Mahathir said Muhyiddin now even helped Najib to come back again.

"He didn't keep his promise. He only thought of himself and making himself PM."

Meanwhile, Mahathir said he had not been able to contact GPS chairman cum Sarawak chief minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Openg since Perikatan Nasional came to power.

He nevertheless admitted that GPS now supports Muhyiddin.

"Anwar said GPS supported him, but to me, GPS supports Muhyiddin!"

The former prime minister said Abang Johari did approach him during the Sheraton Move.

"He said he supported me 100%. I was very happy. But when it came to signing the declaration to be submitted to Agong, they withdrew their support."
