PUTRAJAYA, June 24 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of six new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including two imported cases, one involving a Malaysian and the other a foreigner.

As for the four locally transmitted cases, all involved Malaysians.

To date there are a cumulative total of 8,596 confirmed cases and 8,231 recoveries (including 45 discharged today) at 95.75% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported.

There are currently 244 active cases, inluding two at ICUs.
