PUTRAJAYA, June 16 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 11 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including one imported and 10 locally transmitted cases.

Of the 10 locally transmitted cases, four involved Malaysians and six non-Malaysians.

To date there are a cumulative total of 8,505 confirmed cases and 7,733 recoveries (including 333 discharged today) at 90.92% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported.

There are currently 651 active cases, including four at ICUs.
