PUTRAJAYA, June 11 (Sin Chew Daily) – Director-general of health Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah announced 31 new COVID-19 cases in the country as of noon today, including 11 imported and 20 locally transmitted cases.

Of the newly reported cases, 19 involve non-Malaysians.

To date, there are a cumulative total of 8,369 confirmed cases and 7,065 recoveries (including 51 discharged today) at 84.42% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported.

There are currently 1,186 active cases, including five at ICUs.
