PUTRAJAYA, June 9 (Sin Chew Daily) – Director-general of health Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah announced seven new COVID-19 cases in the country as of noon today, including six imported cases.

The only locally transmitted case involves a non-Malaysian.

To date, there are a cumulative total of 8,336 confirmed cases and 6,975 recoveries (including 281 discharged today) at 83.67% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported.

There are currently 1,244 active cases, including six at ICUs, one requiring ventilator.
