KUALA LUMPUR, June 4 (Sin Chew Daily) – Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin will chair the PPBM supreme council meeting for the first time tonight in his capacity as acting party chairman.

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir, Syed Saddiq and other sacked party leaders have not been invited to the meeting.

Although Akhramsyah Sanusi, son of the late Umno veteran Tan Sri Sanusi Junid, has been sacked as supreme council member, he told Sin Chew Daily he would still attend tonight's meeting.

As for sacked Penang PPBM chairman Datuk Marzuki Yahya, he said he would not attend.

He told Sin Chew Daily, "Why should I attend an illegal meeting?"
