93 new cases today
PUTRAJAYA, June 3 (Sin Chew Daily) – Director-general of health Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah announced 93 new COVID-19 cases in the country as of noon today, all locally transmitted.
Among the new cases are two Malaysians and 91 foreigners, including 55 held at Bukit Jalil immigration depot and 36 from the Pedas cluster.
To date, there are a cumulative total of 7,970 confirmed cases and 6,531 recoveries (including 61 discharged today) at 81.94% recovery rate.
No new death has been reported.
There are currently 1,324 active cases, including six at ICUs, two requiring ventilators.
