KUALA LUMPUR, May 19 (Sin Chew Daily) – In PKR's supreme council meeting on Sunday, the party reached a consensus not to support Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad as prime minister.
However, Pakatan Harapan, including PKR, will continue to work with the former prime minister.
A reliable source told Sin Chew Daily the PH coalition would come now under the leadership of PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
"After the fall of the PH government, PKR leaders, including Anwar Ibrahim, no longer want to be exploited by Tun Mahathir and have lost their faith in him.
"Although we will continue to work with Tun Mahathir, we will no longer support him as prime minister."
When asked whether this was also the position of the other two PH parties DAP and Amanah, the source said, "So far only PKR."
