PUTRAJAYA, May 18 (Sin Chew Daily) – Director-general of health Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah announced 47 new COVID-19 cases in the country as of noon today, including 21 imported cases.

To date, there are a cumulative total of 6,941 positive cases, 5,615 recoveries (including 44 discharged today) at 80.9% recovery rate, and 113 deaths (no new death reported today).

There are currently 1,213 active cases, including 13 in ICUs, six requiring ventilators.
