
Petaling Jaya, Apr 21 (Sin Chew Daily) — Medical experts from China attended a meeting with their Malaysian counterparts to share their experiences in battling the coronavirus.
The Chinese Embassy in Malaysia said in a Facebook post a team of medical experts from China attended the welcome ceremony organized by the Ministry of Health, and proceeded to have a meeting with Malaysian medical experts on COVID-19.
In the post, the Embassy said the Chinese medical experts met the Minister of Health Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba and attended a video conference with doctors and medical experts from 26 hospitals to share their clinical experiences and patient management on the COVID-19 pandemic. They also paid a visit to the National Crisis Response Center.
The medical team of eight doctors from China arrived in Kuala Lumpur on April 18. They will be in the country for two weeks.
The team comprises doctors from different fields including hospital management, respiratory, psychiatry, critical care, infection, data analysis, virology and traditional Chinese medicine.
