COVID-19: Gradual opening up of economic activities in green zones
KUALA LUMPUR, Apr 8 (Sin Chew Daily) — The government is mulling liberalizing economic activities in non-infected zones, in particular those in manufacturing and service sectors which are non-essential but needed by the people, including laundry shops, barbers and car workshops.
A government source told Sin Chew Daily the government would not only progressively allow economic activities in green (non-infected) zones, but also infected areas with no reported fatal cases.
The source said the government would announce the latest standard operating procedures (SOP) latest by tomorrow.
