PUTRAJAYA, Mar 24 (Sin Chew Daily) — Director-general of health Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah announced 106 new COVID-19 cases in the country as of noon today, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 1,624.

43 of the new cases are linked to the tabligh event at Masjid Seri Petaling in Kuala Lumpur.

64 cases are being treated at ICUs, 27 needing ventilators.
