KUALA LUMPUR, Mar 24 (Sin Chew Daily) — Director-general of health Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah announced an additional coronavirus-related death today, taking the toll to 15.

He wrote on Facebook that the victim was a 71-year-old Malaysian man from Melaka. He was suspected to have been in close contact with Case 703 who attended the tabligh event at Masjid Seri Petaling in Kuala Lumpur.

He was treated at Hospital Pakar Sultanah Fatimah in Muar from March 18, and announced dead at 05:35 this morning.
